Bullock Oil Company
was formed in December of 1989 by Rothel D. and Brenda
E. Bullock to serve a six county area of southern Indiana and adjoining
Kentucky counties. The company began as a basic fuel oil jobber-ship
that served farmers and construction with heating oil and industrial
lubricants. In 1993 Bullock Oil ventured into the retail convenience and
gas business with three locations that were branded Sunoco. In 1999 and
again in 2000, several other locations were added to the new branded
private label known as Cowboys Food Stores and operate mainly under the
Marathon petroleum brand. The company now has approximately 130
employees that make up a successful team to serve thousands of customers
in thirteen counties with a full selection of Shell Oil lubricant
products and quality Marathon and BP fuels.
